Joseph H. "Joe" Clark, 78, of Susquehanna Twp., died Friday, February 22, 2013 at his residence.

Born April 19, 1934 in Greenville, SC, the son of the late Lewis P. and Mertie I. (Tillotson) Clark.

He was employed as a massage therapist at the East Shore YMCA from 1955 to 1996.

In 1952, he graduated from the Cedar Springs School for the deaf and blind and also attended Jordan High School in Greer, SC.

Joe was a member of the Progress Church of God., where he was a member of the Young At Heart Senior Life Fellowship, Fellowship Sunday School Class and Churches Of God Winebrenner Brotherhood..

In addition to being an avid fisherman, he enjoyed music, baseball, reading, sports and NASCAR
He was a member of the Delaware Lodge #52 F&A.M. in Phillipsburg, NJ; Harrisburg Consistory; and Zembo Temple Shrine; and Independent Order of Foresters.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna Mae ( Miller) Clark. They were married September 6, 1961

Surviving are 2 daughters, Audrey L. Black (and husband, Billy) of Etters and Maureen I. Clark of Harrisburg; 4 sisters, Kay F. Parris (and husband, Buddy), Mary Ann Cox, Margaret I. Ross (and husband, Larry) and Patricia E. Long (and husband, Garland), all of South Carolina; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Progress Church of God, 3424 Old Orchard Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17109, with the Rev. C. Alvin Cott officiating.

There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the church.

Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
