Barbara A. "Barb" (Crumling) Davis, 67, of Elizabethtown, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Hershey, PA on January 19, 1945, the daughter of the late Harry, Sr. and Anna Mae (Reader) Crumling.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hummelstown.

Barb enjoyed reading, crocheting, crossword puzzles, Nascar, but mostly following her grandchildren's sporting events.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was truly the glue that kept her family together.

Surviving is her husband, Bryce L. Davis, Sr., whom she married at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Penbrook in 1964.

Also surviving are 2 sons, Bryce L Davis, Jr. (and wife, Sherry A.) of Palmyra and Brian P. Davis (and wife, Janice L.) of Hummelstown; 2 daughters, Beth A. Orris (and husband, Thomas C.) of Middletown and Bobbie Jo Gruber (and husband, J. Merle) of Elizabethtown; a brother, Harry "Butch" Crumling, Jr. (and wife, Dorothy) of Williamsburg, VA; 6 grandchildren, Megan, Dana, Bryce, III, Dagen, Anthony and Sarah; and 2 great grandchildren, Aubrey and Brayden; 2 nieces, Suzanne and Jill.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Keith Davis.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012, at Grace Chapel, 2535 Colebrook Rd., Elizabethtown, PA.


There will be a viewing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012, at the Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc, 4100 Jonestown Rd., Harrisburg PA and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church.

Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Londonderry Fire Co., 2655 Foxianna Rd., Middletown, PA 17057.
