Mary Esther (Shearer) "Satzler" Weibley, 88, of Enola, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at her daughter's home.

She was born on August 2, 1923 in Harrisburg but lived most of her life in Meck's Corner, Perry County.

She was a member of Snyder's Evangelical United Brethren Church in New Bloomfield for most of her life and served for 19 years in the Mahoney Rebekkah Lodge 428 of New Bloomfield. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 177 in Newport as well as a Canteen Member of the Duncannon American Legion Post 255.

Mary is survived by her only daughter, Charlene "Satzler" Zimmerman of Enola; six grandchildren, James, Alisa, Clyde, Kristina, Forrest and Michael; 6 1/2 great grandchildren " the A due on Easter Sunday. She loved her grandchildren deeply and the great grandchildren were the light of her eyes. She had many lifelong friends, touching many peoples' lives through the years, and although she will be greatly missed by her family and friends, she will continue being an Angel in Heaven as she was here on earth.

She will be missed by her daughter's little dog, Honehe, who was with her till the end.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George Washington and Edith Mae (Beam) Shearer as well as ten brothers and sisters.

Family and friends may call between 6 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg.

She will be laid to rest with a private ceremony at 12 Noon on Thursday at Rolling Green Memorial Gardens, 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill.
