Judith M. Melhorn Elphick, 71, of Halifax, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born August 18, 1944, in Tallassee, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Malcolm Camp and Barbara Stroble Camp.

Judy was a member of Word of Life Chapel where she was head of the Tuesday Women’s Club.  Judy was very involved in her church.  She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.  She also loved sewing and had a passion for quilting and gardening.

Surviving are her husband, Robert “Bob” Elphick, Jr.; a son, Michael Melhorn; a daughter, Kim Fisher and husband, Donald; 4 grandchildren, Brett Melhorn and wife Melanie, Eric Melhorn, Rita Yoder and her husband Scott, and Christina Stiehl; 5 great-grandchildren, Patrick, Thomas, Anne, Hunter, and Cameron; 3 sisters, Eileen Stroble, Irene Miller and husband, Ron,  and Deborah George and husband, Charles; her best friend, Alice Enterline; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 12 Noon, at Word of Life Chapel, 27 Fellowship Drive, Halifax, PA 17032.  Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Church.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
